Chen Eden is a small jewellery business run by Jacklyn. This page explains what the Chen Eden website and app keep about you, why, and how to have it removed. We do not sell your information, show you advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.

Without an account

You can browse the stones, use the stone finder and design a piece without signing in. What you save — favourite stones and designs — stays on your own device.

If you make an account

Signing in takes only your email address; we send you a six-digit code instead of using a password. With an account we keep your email address, the name and profile picture you choose to add, and your saved stones and designs, so they are with you on every device you sign in on.

When you ask Jacklyn for a piece

A request includes your name, email address, phone number, delivery choice (and the state it ships to), the stones and pieces you chose, and any note you write. Jacklyn uses these only to reply to you, make your piece and deliver it. When you pay, payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Records of pieces you have paid for are kept as business and tax records.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app registers your device with Apple's push notification service so Jacklyn can tell you when your piece moves along — for example, when it is being made or has been sent. You can turn them off at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Photos, camera and microphone

The app only uses your photos or camera when you choose a picture to add — such as your profile picture. The microphone is used only in Jacklyn's own studio tools, to record a voice note she chooses to make. Nothing is taken from your photos or recorded without you starting it.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run Chen Eden: our web host, our email provider (to send your sign-in codes and replies), Stripe (for payment) and Apple (for notifications). None of them may use your information for anything else.

Deleting your information

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile, then Delete my account. That removes your account, saved stones and designs, profile picture and signed-in devices. To have anything else removed, write to hello@cheneden.com.

Children

Chen Eden is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
